OIT Systems Maintenance, Thurs. Aug 27 from 3:00AM to 7:00AM

Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 08/27/2015 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window. In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:

Affected services: OIM, Blackboard​
Affected systems: boc22oimccp1.ad.fau.edu
Description of maintenance: Fix to correct classes missing from Blackboard after FAUNetID rename. Updating Blackboard OIM Connector version 1.1-SNAPSHOT​
Fixes an issue with renaming accounts. Username changes must also include a change to their UserBatchUid in blackboard.
User impact: No downtime is expected for this change

Affected systems: Banner Financial Aid
Description of maintenance: ​Install Banner Financial Aid 8.23.0.6 patch in production. This patch creates a critical report for the 2015/2016 Direct Loan Reconciliation process. The Financial Aid office has been waiting for this item to be released and they have requested that it be expedited into production.
User impact: No user downtime is anticipated

Description of maintenance: Install Banner General 8.7.3 upgrade in production.
This upgrade is required as a pre-requisite installation for upcoming​ Financial Aid and Student upgrades which are anticipated for the first week of September 2015

[RESOLVED] – Password Resets Issues

Password reset issue has been resolved and we are now able to reset passwords again.

OIT is beginning emergency network maintenance at this time. While the maintenance is underway, some networked services and servers on the Boca campus will be intermittently unavailable. We anticipate maintenance to be concluded before 6:20a.m.

COMPLETED: Echo360 System Maintenance

Echo360 has successfully upgraded to 5.4, SP7.

ESS is accessible for users and viewership of Echo360 presentations is fully functional.

Data is still being moved.  Services should be accessible within the hour.

 

OIM maintenance is running longer than expected.  No ETA at this point, will update status shortly.
