Automation of Parchment Transcripts Import into OnBase

This automation will allow the system to routinely pick up Undergraduate Parchment transcripts and import them into OnBase. Once the transcript is in OnBase, it will undergo a matching process and update the respective checklist item in the SAAADMS, BANNER applicant record.

OIT Systems Maintenance, Thurs. Aug 8 from 3:00AM to 7:00AM

Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 08/06/2020 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window. In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:

Description of change: OIT will be moving a virtual server to new hardware.
Downtime window start: 8/6/2020 3:00 AM
Downtime window end: 8/6/2020 6:00 AM
Affected services: Jira and Confluence (jira.fau.edu and kb.fau.edu)
Expected End-user impact: During this time, services listed will be unavailable. Users may also lose their work if it was entered after the clone was created.

Restrict SharePoint/OneDrive shareable links expiration
Description of change: OIT will be restricting SharePoint/OneDrive shareable links to a 30 day validity ​

Downtime window end: 8/6/2020 3:05 AM
Affected services: SharePoint, Onedrive​
Expected End-user impact: During this time, there is no end-user impact. After the change, users will only be allowed to make a shareable link for OneDrive/SharePoint with a validity of up to 30 days

Description of change: OIT will be enabling Bitlocker on OIT managed clients​

Food Service Credit Card Issues on the Boca Raton campus

At this time we have identified that Owl Done is unavailable. We are currently investigating the cause and will update the status as we learn more. Other FAU services may also be affected.
