Starting Monday, March 7, through Wednesday, March 9, 2016 between the hours of 9:00 pm and 6:00 am, the Communications Infrastructure team will begin upgrading the VoIP telephones at all campus locations. During this time the phones will require a fifteen-minute reboot after receiving the upgrade. At approximately 12:45pm we experienced an issue with DHCP and some users may have experienced a network outage at that time. Service was quickly restored by 1:00pm.

Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 02/25/2016 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window. Affected systems: boc22ora07 (OIMP), boc22ora03 (MSOP, IDMP), boc22oimp1, boc22oimp2, boc22oimwebp1, boc22oimwebp2
Description of maintenance: Due to a critical patch that needs to be installed on all Linux systems, we will need to restart the production OIM and IDM database and application servers
User impact: Passwords will not synchronize during this time so we recommend not changing your password until after the maintenance window is done.

Affected services: MyFAU
Affected systems: MyFAU
Description of maintenance: OIT will restart the database servers for MyFAU due to new patches being installed.
User impact: Users will not be able to access MyFAU during this time.

Affected systems: bannerprd, sctcache[1-8], sctforms[1-2]

User impact: No access to banner

Maintenance for FAU’s Online Payment System (Touchnet) has successfully been completed and is available to accept online payments.
***Notice***
FAU has extended the cancellation payment due date for all students.
Payments can be made in person or through the campus drop box until Friday, January 29, 2016 at 5:00 PM on the Boca Raton Campus, Student Services Bldg. 80, Room 113.
Online payments can be made until Sunday, January 31, 2016 at 11:00 PM.
Please note…January 31, 2016 is the deadline for ONLINE PAYMENTS ONLY. Be sure to make your payments by these dates to avoid cancellation.
1098-T’s are currently not able to be viewed. You will receive a notification via your FAU email address when available.

The TouchNet payment processing system will be undergoing maintenance on Wednesday, January 20 from 3:00 am to 5:00 am. –
During this time, student payment services (Bill+Payment), as well as all Marketplace Stores, uPay sites and TouchNet ready partner payment services will be unavailable and will not be able to handle any payment requests.
We expect all systems to be back online no later than 5:00 am that morning.
