Single Sign On Upgrade
When: 3:00AM – 7:00AM
Affected services: All login systems that utilize SSO.fau.edu including Blackboard, Workday, Office 365, Outlook 365, Owl Apps (Google Applications), and many others.
Affected systems: shibboleth1, shibboleth2, cas1, cas2, BigIP
Description of maintenance: The University Single Sign On infrastructure will be upgraded to the latest version and introduce a new login page.
User impact: Single Sign On will be intermittently available during the upgrade.
The single sign-on system will be partially unavailable from 11:00 pm Tuesday July 19th, 2016 to 1:00 am Wednesday July 20th, 2016. While the maintenance is in progress users may intermittently experience difficulty logging into services such as Blackboard, Self Service, Office 365, Owlapps, and Workday.
We are currently experiencing some connectivity issues with Office365 applications, such as email, Skype for Business, and SharePoint. We are investigating the issue and have contacted Microsoft for assistance in order to resolve the issue as soon as possible.

TouchNet systems has completed their maintenance. All systems are back online and ready for regular use.

The TouchNet payment processing system will be undergoing maintenance; from 3:00(am) to 7:00(am) –EST, on Wednesday 5/18/16.
This will affect student payment services (Bill+Payment), as well as all Marketplace Stores, uPay sites and TouchNet ready partner payment services.
We expect all systems to be back online no later than 7:00(am) that morning. A follow up notification will be sent out when the system is back online.
We have had a few reports of issues with Duo multi-factor authentication. We are currently investigating. If you experience an issue, please close your browser and try again. If you continue with an issue please contact the helpdesk at 561-297-3999 for assistance.

The subject line of this message is Emergency Email! and the message states: “To Avoid Closure Of Your Email, Click Or Copy This Link:[google drive link]” – Please DO NOT click this message as it is not sent from OIT or FAU and by clicking the link your account will become compromised.
Google has suspended any user who has clicked the link. To enable your account, you must reset your Owlapps password. We recommend that you reset both your Owlapps and FAUNet ID passwords to avoid any future issues.
