On Tuesday, February 12, 2013, between 5:00 am and 6:30 am, OIT will perform maintenance on the wireless network segments on the Boca Raton Campus. [Resolved] Exchange/Talisma issues

The Exchange and Talisma problems experienced earlier today have been resolved. A faulty power distribution unit in the server rack was identified and replaced.

Exchange/Talisma issues

We are currently experiencing a connectivity issue with multiple systems in a specific rack. Affected by these issues are:

exchangemb0[2-3], taldb01, hvboc0[1-5]

Additionally, exchangemb01 is unable to contact it’s disks

Exchange services are up and running at NWRDC

VM guests on hvboc0[1-5] appear to be up, but host management is unavailable

Talisma may be unavailable

We are working to identify and resolve these issues as soon as possible

OIT Systems Maintenance, Thursday, Feb 7, 2013 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM

Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 01/7/2012 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window. In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:

When: 3:00 AM – 7:00 AM
Affected services: Banner INB & SSB
Affected systems: Banner FAUP
Description of maintenance: The following updates will be installed in Banner production: Attendance Tracking 9.0.0 upgrade + patch, Course Catalogue/Class Schedule 9.0.0/9.0.1 upgrades, Faculty Grade Entry 9.0.0/9.0.1 upgrades, DBEU – Database Extension Utility, HR/Payroll 8.8.1.5, 8.8.1.6 & 8.8.1.7 patches, Employee Self-Service 8.8.1.2 patch, Finance 8.8.0.4 patch
User impact: Users will not be able to log into Banner INB or SSB.

Banner production (FAUP) maintenance including Banner XE installations, the Database Extension Utility, module updates and patches is scheduled for this Thursday (2/7/2013) morning from 3:00am to 7:00am.
