On Wednesday, May 23, 2012, between 5:30 am and 6:30 am, Networking will modify the uplinks used by two switches in building 22, RU12 and RU13. This upgrade has been approved by the change advisory committee. Thank you
On Wednesday, May 23, 2012, between 5:30 am and 6:30 am, Networking will modify the vlans used by the Metro Ethernet connection. This upgrade will cause an interruption to the network connection to the remote FAU campus locations. Please be advised that calls to or from the remote campus locations may require dialing a seven or ten digit number during the times listed above. The latest Oracle patches will be applied to the Banner Production environment during Thursday’s (5/24) scheduled Production maintenance window.
As a result, Banner Production (FAUP INB/SSB/batch) and the ODS will not be available from 4:00am-6:00am.
A message will be posted on the MyFAU Self-Service Channel.
Banner DEVL/TEST/YEND will be unavailable tonight during the scheduled Maintenance Window (6:00pm-10:00pm). During this time, the latest oracle patches will be applied.
At 2:21 PM today, (Monday, May 21, 2012) the FAU network experienced a 60 second drop in the Metro Ethernet connectivity to the Harbor Branch and Port St. Lucie campus locations. Full connectivity has been restored and we are working with the carrier to determine the reason for the drop in service.
