We are currently experiencing an issue with the Blackboard Collaboration tools (Virtual Classroom and Chat-NOT Blackboard Collaborate, formerly known as Elluminate) that will cause users to receive pop-up error message with the following security warning: “The application’s digital signature has an error. Do you want to run the application?” Please be sure to click “Run” (NOT “Cancel”) in order to use these tools. You should only need to do this once. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 04/12/2012 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window.  In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:

When: 5:00 AM – 6:00 AM
Affected services:  Identity Manager (IDM)
Affected systems:  boc22ora03
Description:  An Oracle patch set update needs to be applied
User Impact: IDM will be unavailable at this time, password syncs will not work.

Blackboard will be unavailable between 4-6am on Friday, April 13 due to system maintenance. We apologize for the inconvenience.

FYI, password syncs originating from Active Directory are not working. We are investigating the issue.

We are experiencing computer network problems. Network Managers are aware of the problem and are working on a resolution.

We had an issue with the Banner production Linux server; the system is restarting and should be available momentarily. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Starting at 6am on 4/8, FLR engineers will be performing an IOS-XR upgrade on the Miami core node. Based on our lab testing, we expect the node to be unavailable for approximately 10 minutes while software and firmware are updated. The following services will be affected by this maintenance:

FAU Connector: Primary FLRnet

Note that all L2VPNs which use the above circuits will also be affected.
