The ODS upgrade is currently in progress and is scheduled to be completed on October 16, 2011. During this period, reports accessing ODS will be redirected to a standby ODS database with data that was last refreshed on October 4, 2011.
The new ODS release (version 8.2) will be using Oracle “Streams” which will eliminate the problem with triggers locking Banner tables during the refresh process. This has caused a conflict with production processes in the past.
More information about this new ODS release is available to DART BOARD users under the ODS Metadata tab – ODS Metadata (Test).

We have noticed some issues with the grade book which may prevent it from displaying as quickly as normal. A quick temporary fix for the problem is to sort the grade book descending or ascending while it is loading. This action causes it to immediately display. If sorting fails to resolve the problem please enter a call ticket.
This fix has been tested on small and large classes ranging in size from 10 students to 1,500.
