Description of maintenance: ​The following updates will be installed in Banner Production: General 8.7.0 Upgrade, General 8.7.1 Upgrade, General 8.7.1.1 Patch, General 8.7.2 Upgrade.
User impact: There is no anticipated user/service impact.

When: 6:00AM – 6:15AM
Affected services: Emails sent to helpdesk (Team Dynamix)​
Affected systems: boc22tmdynamix​
Description of maintenance: ​OIT will be updating the Team Dynamix Email Service to a newer version to support the current version of Team Dynamix
User impact: Emails sent to the system will be delayed as the email service is upgraded​

Due to the nature of the maintenance, users may experience intermittent network outages lasting approximately 10 – 15 minutes during this window. This outage will affect connectivity to the Internet as well as connectivity within FAU.

Description of maintenance: PaperCut Color Queues will be changed to Toshiba Universal 2 drivers from HP Universal PS 3 drivers due to a color printing issue with the HP Universal.​
User impact:  Printing to color printers in PaperCut during this time will be disrupted.

[RESOLVED] Single-Sign On Issues

We are currently experiencing issues with Single-Sign On (SSO).  This impacts all services that are using single-sign on – Blackboard, Self-Service, Gmail, Help Desk,  Network Registration, and more. We are working on resolving the issue and will update as we know more.

Description of maintenance: Add a new print server called boc22pclyprint01. Move the library printers from boc22pcprt01 to boc22pclyprint01
User impact: Users in the library will not be able to print until this process is complete.

Description of maintenance: Restarting the Apache Tomcat instances for apply.fau.edu (Undergraduate Admissions Application version 2) in order to allow Housing and LINK information to be parsed into Banner.

Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 02/05/2015 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window. In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:

NWRDC DBC1 firmware upgrade
When: 3:00AM – 7:00AM
Affected services: All services will remain up during this process
Affected systems: nwrdcesxi16 to 26
Description of maintenance: OIT will be upgrading the firmware on some blades at our disaster recovery site. As a result, several services will be unavailable for approximately 4 hours.
User impact: We do not expect any end user impact

PaperCut port and driver changes.
When: 4:00AM – 7:00AM
Affected services: PaperCut printing service
Affected systems: Boc22pcprt01
Description of maintenance: ACDI has recommended we change printer ports for our ‘Follow Me’ queues. In additional, we would like to test a different printer driver to see if that clears up some issues.​
User impact: Printing via PaperCut will not be available during the downtime.
