New Account Information Emails

We are receiving many reports of users receiving emails with the subject “Account Information” and with a from address of “donotreply@oracle.com”.  These emails are being generated inadvertently by a system on the FAU campus and should be disregarded. These are not phishing scams and your information is not at risk. We are working to stop the transmission of these emails.

An example of one of the emails is below:

To: xxxxxxx
Subject: New Account Information

 

An account has been created for you with the following details. You will be required to change your password on next login.

Network outage in buildings T-10 and T-11 on Boca Raton campus

Verasmart phonebill resolved

The vendor has approved the version we upgraded to on their end and the service is back up and running.
