OIT Systems Maintenance, Thursday, January 21 from 3:00AM to 7:00AM

Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 01/21/2016 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window.

In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:

Increase storage space on IDM system
When: 6:00AM – 6:30AM
Affected services: IDM​
Affected systems: idmgatewayp.fau.edu​
Description of maintenance: OIT will be increasing the storage space on a system that supports account and password sync.​
User impact: Password synchronizations may be slower during this time.

OIM Database Schema Updates
When: 5:00AM – 6:00AM
Affected services: Oracle Identity Manager
Affected systems: Oracle Identity Manager
Description of maintenance: The database schema will be changed to support features in third party services that use OIM database.
User impact: None expected

PDU installation in RF 219, Rack JRS-01. Jupiter Campus
When: 4:00AM – 7:00AM
Affected services: ​Netreg including DHCP, DNS, and LDAP for the Jupiter Campus.
Affected systems: ​JUP17HV01
Description of maintenance: ​There will be a disruption in netreg services on the Jupiter campus between 4AM and 6AM. This is due to the fact that we need to power down the systems located in JRS-01 and swap out the rack PDUs.
