***************************************************

Migration of virtual servers to new BigIP load balancers
When: 4:00AM – 5:00AM
Affected services:
Affected systems: Bigip Load Balancers
Description of maintenance: Our current BigIP load balancers are being upgraded, so we are moving secure websites hosted by the old ones to the new ones.
User impact: Users may not be able to certain websites during maintenance.

***************************************************

mysql01 backend storage move
When: 5:00AM – 6:00AM
Affected services: Any service that requires mysql01 database access.  These include, but may not be limited to: Jira, Confluence, various web apps all over www.fau.edu and various application servers.
Affected systems: Jira, Confluence, www (some features)
Description of maintenance:  The data storage for the mysql01 database is being upgraded
User impact: Users will not be able to connect to Jira, confluence, or use some web applications that are MySQL based.

Removal of support for old ssl ciphers on BigIP virtual servers
When: 5:00AM – 6:00AM
Affected services: All services served by virtual servers hosted by the BigIP load balancers.  These include but may not be limited to: Blackboard, Owlapp, SSO, Papercut, SAS, MyFAU, Banner, Talisma, oud, www, Filelocker, ds/ldap, DMZ entry point for various ColdFusion apps, tms, SCTforms, etc.
Affected systems: bigip load balancers
Description of maintenance: We are making improvements to the security of secure websites (HTTPS only!)  that are hosted by the BigIP load balancers
User impact: No end user impact is expected as long as their web browsers / clients are reasonably new enough.   If their client is too old, they will get an SSL handshake failure and they will not be able to load the secure website.
If these users have a valid reason for maintaining their old clients, we can consider making an exception for that particular bigip virtual server.
