[RESOLVED] Intermittent single-sign on issues

Early this morning we experienced issues with single sign on. This affected several of our services such as Banner and FAU Self-Service.

The issue has been resolved and all services should be accessible at this time. If you continue having issues please contact the OIT Help Desk 561.297.3999.

[Completed] Network maintenance on June 8 from 5:00 am – 6:00 am

OIT will be performing network maintenance on Friday, June 8 from 5:00 a.m. until 6:00 a.m. Due to the nature of the maintenance, users may experience intermittent Internet outages lasting approximately 5 minutes during this window.

OIT Systems Maintenance, Thurs. June 7 from 3:00AM to 7:00AM

Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 06/07/2018 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window. In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:

Single Sign On Certificate Upgrade
Description of change: OIT is upgrading the certificate for Microsoft Single Sign On Services.
Downtime window start: 3:00 AM
Downtime window end: 4:00 AM
Affected services: Office 365, College of Business Streaming Authentication, Skype for Business, Single Sign On
Affected systems: Metadata server, shibboleth servers
Expected End-user impact: During this time, users may loose the ability to login to Office 365 during the upgrade.

Updates to Self Service Account
Description of change: ​Applying Security and Upgrades to Account Self Service Site
Downtime window start: 5:00 AM
Downtime window end: 6:00 AM
Affected services: ​Account Self Service
Affected systems: Identity Management
Expected End-user impact: ​During this time, no end user impact is expected. Users will continue to use the services as normal.

Decomission Mail Server
Description of change: OIT will be decomissioning a legacy mail server.
Downtime window start: 8:00 AM
Downtime window end: 8:00 AM
Affected services: Exchange Client Access and mail relay​
Affected systems: Exchange server
Expected End-user impact: During this time, end users will be unable to relay mail through ExchangeCA03.
