Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 10/11/2018 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window. In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:

Server Maintenance – Oracle Identity Management
Description of change: OIT will be upgrading the Oracle Identity Management (OIM) system from 11.1.2.2 to 11.1.2.3 (PS3).
Downtime window start: 12:01 AM
Downtime window end: 7:00 AM
Affected services: Password resets, account claiming, Oracle Identity Management (OIM)
Affected systems: OIM servers
Expected End-user impact: During this time, users will not be able to claim accounts or reset passwords.

Description of change: OIT will be upgrading several Banner modules, such as Student, Faculty Self-Service, and General

Downtime window end: 7:00 AM
Affected services: Banner 8, Banner XE, Application Navigator and Self-Service

Expected End-user impact: During this time, users may not be able to connect to Banner and/or Self-Service.

Description of change: OIT will be upgrading the components of several systems to resolve bugs and add support for newer hardware.

Description of change: Updating e-mail address in Oracle Identity Manager for users that should have an @health.fau.edu address. This is in preparation for the Trusted e-mail go-live. OIM may be slower than usual during this time.
