Data Center Storage Maintenance (Netapp Production Cluster)
Description of change: OIT is performing maintenance on the Netapp Production Cluster to prepare for upgrades.

Affected services: Work is only being performed on one of the two redundant switches, so no downtime is expected but there is a potential to affect all services dependent on NetApp storage, including major ones, such as: Banner, Oracle Identity Manager (OIM), Andi Shares, Ibiweb, MSSQL databases and services dependent on those, Network Registration, Grouper, Owlapps, Edocs, and Papercut to name a few.
End-user impact: End-user impact is not expected. However, if any issues occur during maintenance, services may be impacted.

BHRIC storage maintenance
Description of change: Research Computing will be performing maintenance on the SAN for BHRIC. During this time there is no expected user impact. However, https://vdi.fau.edu, servers on https://health-vcenter , REDCAP may experience some slowness while the updates are running.

Description of change: OIT is fixing grammatical errors in the Non-email Acceptance Email.

[RESOLVED] Identity Management System Outage

UPDATE: The Identity Management System and the related services have been restored and everything is working as intended.

We are experiencing a service outage with our Identity Management System. Our team is currently working to restore the service. As a result of the outage, password resets are not working and new accounts will not be provisioned until the service has been restored. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.

Disable Microsoft Recall Features on University Owned Devices
Description of change: OIT will be implementing proactive changes on Wednesday June 12th to disable Microsoft Copilot+ Recall features on newer systems in order to protect sensitive university and personal information.

Description of change: OIT will apply some changes to allow loading of schools after admission apps have been loaded. Also, some changes will be made for loading post-secondary schools. In addition, self-reported degree dates for post-secondary schools will no longer be loaded and a filter will be added to prevent loading fau school records into the transfer school table.

Description of change: OIT will be upgrading printing services used in the computer labs, library, and web printing on Wednesday, May 22nd, between the hours of 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM.
