Change of Grade workflow process is currently unavailable at this time. We are currently investigating the issue and working to resolve the issue as soon as possible and we appreciate your patience during this time..  We do not currently have an estimated time of resolution (ETR).

OIT Systems Maintenance, Thurs. June 27 from 3:00AM to 7:00AM

Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 06/27/2019 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window.  In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:

Single Sign On Maintenance to Support WebEx Admin
Description of change: OIT will update the Single Sign On configuration to support WebEx’s new deployment. This is required to support WebEx’s non-standard single sign on setup. ​
Downtime window start: 5:00 AM
Downtime window end: 6:00 AM
Affected services: Single Sign On​ and all services which utilize it. This includes but is not limited to: Workday, Canvas, Banner, and MyFAU
Expected End-user impact: During this time, no end-user impact is expected. However, there is a small chance that one or more single sign on servers could stop during this maintenance. If this occurs, users will be redirected to the OIT disaster recovery site. When this occurs some services will momentarily fail to authenticate. It is recommended to try refresh the browser and try again. If the problem persist, try again after the maintenance window. If assistance is needed, please contact the OIT Help Desk 561.297.3999

Database configuration changes
Description of change: OIT will be making adjustments to the configuration of connections to application databases in preparation of up coming upgrades to database backends. These changes do require a restart the services however no impact to our users is anticipated

Affected services: accounts.fau.edu – Accounts Self Service, User Manager (UM), Financial Aid Course Quiz,
Expected End-user impact: During this time, no end-user impact is expected.

BHRIC Servers upgrade from Windows 2012R2 to Windows 2019
Description of change: OIT has a series of Windows servers on BOCA RATON and JUPITER cloud platforms running Windows 2012 R2. These servers will be upgraded to Windows 2019​. The first server was upgraded successfully. We would like to continue upgrading all servers in 3/4 servers per batch over next few months. ​This will be the 5th batch.
Downtime window start: 3:00 AM
Downtime window end: 6:00 AM
Affected services: Various services that resides on the Jupiter Health domain​
Expected End-user impact: During this time, no end-user impact is expected

Network Maintenance – Jupiter Campus – Saturday June 29th and Sunday June 30th from 12:00 a.m. until 7:00 a.m.

OIT will be performing maintenance on core network equipment during the early morning hours of Saturday June 29th and Sunday June 30th. During this time, all network services on the Jupiter campus will be sporadic or generally unavailable. All services will be restored to full operation before 7:00 a.m. Another notice will be posted if maintenance is concluded early, or if the Sunday maintenance window is no longer needed.
