[Resolved] AWS Issues affecting Canvas and Related Tools

[6:50 AM] This issue has been resolved.

Canvas and Respondus LockDown Browser have reported issues due to problems with Amazon Web Services (AWS). FAU students and teachers may experience problems accessing parts of Canvas or LockDown Browser exams. There is no reported time frame yet for a fix for this issue. Updates will follow as we get them.

[RESOLVED] Possible connectivity issues to network/Internet

The issue have been resolved.

We are currently experiencing issues with computers not being able to renew the DHCP lease (network connection). This can result in not being able to remotely connect to the computers or not being able to access the network/internet if you are on campus.
OIT is working on resolving this issues as soon as possible.
We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.

[NETWORK OUTAGE RECOVERY] Late Friday Afternoon 4:15 through 5:30

FAU experienced unplanned network connectivity issues between 4:15 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. today. Network connectivity has been restored, but OIT may still be working to restore some services that may have been impacted.

[RESOLVED] TouchNet Systems Maintenance, Thursday, November 19th from 3:00AM to 7:00AM

The TouchNet payment processing system will be undergoing maintenance -Starting from 3:00am to 7:00am (EST) Thursday, November 19th. This affects student payment services (Bill+Payment), as well as all Marketplace Stores, uPay sites and TouchNet ready partner payment services. We expect all systems to be back online no later than 7:00 am (EST) that morning. When the system is back up and ready to go, we will notify you. You may wish to place warnings on your website, or take your store offline. If this scheduled downtime creates a conflict for your operations, please feel free to contact us at FIS@fau.edu for further discussion. Expected End-user impact: During this time all student payment services (Bill+Payment), as well as all Marketplace Stores, uPay sites and TouchNet ready partner payment services will be unavailable during this maintenance cycle.

[NETWORK MAINTENANCE] Boca Raton Campus – Sunday November 15th from 5:00 a.m. until 7:30 a.m.
