Turnitin has reported that all systems are back to being fully operational. Turnitin assignments in Canvas should be back to normal.

[SSO Maintenance] Network Maintenance affecting SSO – Tuesday March 16th from 6:00 a.m. until 6:30 a.m.

OIT will be performing network maintenance on Tuesday March 16th between 6:00 a.m. until 6:30 that may briefly impact SSO logins. During this time users may experience a momentary delay or timeout when signing into SSO.

[Identified] Turnitin Emergency Maintenance

Turnitin Emergency Maintenance is complete. For all customers using Turnitin Feedback Studio, they have restored the ability to submit papers and view similarity scores, access submissions, and use grading tools. Details of student paper matches in the similarity report are not currently available. They are continuing to investigate and working towards complete service restoration.

OIT Systems Maintenance, Thurs. March 11 from 3:00am to 7:00am

Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 03/11/2021 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window. In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:

Expected End-user impact: All remote desk phones and Jabber clients will lose connection for about 30 seconds during the upgrade. After the upgrade is completed all clients should automatically re-register.

[Resolved] FAU experiencing internet issues

UPDATE: The issue has been resolved and users should be able to connect without issues now.

FAU is currently experiencing internet  problems that may make it hard or slow to connect to systems and sites. It is being investigated and will post an update when we have more information.
