The Mediasite Cloud Team will be performing maintenance on Mediasite Cloud Servers during our scheduled maintenance window on December 8th between 1:01AM EST and 5:00AM EST. This maintenance requires taking the environment offline, and as such Mediasite will not be available during this window. We do not expect any downtime before or after the designated window. OIT will continue to monitor the process and update the university community as needed.

Mediasite Scheduled Outage – Saturday 7/14
Mediasite will be intermittently unavailable Saturday, July 14th 1 AM EDT – 5 AM EDT while the vendor performs upgrades to their system and the application. Users can expect loss of access to Mediasite Catalogs and MyMediasite as well as disruption to playback during this time.

The upgrade to Mediasite is complete and service is restored.
Mediasite will be unavailable for an hour beginning at 11am while the system is upgraded. During this time users will be unable to view presentations.

The issue with Mediasite catalogs has been resolved. Catalogs are loading normally.
Mediasite Catalogs slow to load
Users will find that Mediasite catalogs are slow to load and may even time out. The Mediasite Cloud admins are aware of the issue and are working towards a solution.

The mediasite cloud servers have been restored. Access to the MyMediasite portal is now available. However some catalogs and links to videos are timing out with the error: “Unable to communicate with the remote server”. Engineers are actively working on correcting the issue. OIT continues to monitor the situation and will provide updates as they becoming available.
