Telecom Xpressions/Voicemail

We are currently experiencing intermittent issues with the voicemail system.  We are working with our vendor Unify to correct the problem.

Emergency Telecom Maintenance – Saturday, February 1 from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Communication Infrastructure will be performing emergency Xpressions (voicemail) maintenance between 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. today, Saturday, February 1. During this time, Xpressions will be off line, and users will not be able to leave, record, or listen to voicemail messages.

Telecom Emergency Maintenance on Wednesday, March 20, 2013

On Wednesday, March 20, 2013 from 11:00 pm until 3:00 am Thursday, March 21, 2013, OIT will be performing emergency maintenance on the telephone switch for the Boca Campus. During this time there will be no phone service on any FAU telephone. In the event of emergency users will have to use a cellular phone or a NON-FAU telephone to dial 911 or the FAU police at 561-271-5163.

The emergency reboot of the Xpressions/Voicemail Servers

*UPDATE @8:17PM- the emergency reboot of the Xpressions/Voicemail Servers has been completed.

The vendor has identified and corrected the problem with the message waiting indicators on the telephones.
