Mediasite Channels accessed via Canvas appear to still be operational.
Some users will see an error when attempting to browse Mediasite Channels. OIT is aware of the issue and is working with the vendor towards a resolution.
Users may experience an error “This website is under heavy load.” in Canvas. Canvas support is currently working on a fix for the issue. You can go to https://status.instructure.com for the most recent information.
Mediasite has resolved the error impacting presentation and channel availability via Canvas.
OIT is aware and investigating along with the vendor, a connection error between Canvas and Mediasite.
The Zoom to Mediasite import tool has been repaired and is now importing designated Zoom recordings in to Mediasite. OIT is continuing to monitor the tool for stability.
Please note that only Zoom recordings made on or after May 1st will be imported. Failed recordings made before this date will need to be manually transferred by downloading from Zoom and uploading into MyMediasite.
Banner Maintenance
Description of change: OIT will be performing critical maintenance on Banner from 1:00 a.m. until 5:00 a.m. on April 26th. Banner will not be available during this time to allow the Ellucian support team to install the updates.

End-user impact: All end users of Banner will be impacted. Banner will be unavailable during this time.
Currently Zoom recordings designated for import to Mediasite are not being imported. OIT is aware and is investigating the problem with the vendor.
Recordings can still be uploaded manually in the web interface.
The issue affecting the publishing, editing, and uploading of Mediasite presentations has been resolved.
Mediasite has implemented a fix for the presentation processing errors. Presentation processing should return to normal over the next several hours as the queue is processed.
OIT will continue to monitor the state of Mediasite.
