Update: the Echo360 system will be unavailable now till 4pm today to allow additional time for patches to be completed.

The Echo360 lecture capture system will be unavailable today until 1:00 PM. During this time the Echo360 system is being updated to the latest maintenance release. As part of this update a new SSL certificate will be applied to all echo360 classroom capture appliances to correct certificate errors.
During this time previously-recorded lectures will be unavailable and no Echo360 recordings may be scheduled for the following rooms:
Boca: CM125, Boca CM128, Boca CM130, Boca EE106, Boca FL401, Boca FL404, Boca FL424, Boca FL427, Boca NU108, Boca NU201
Dania Beach: ST209
Davie: DW108, LA134, LA139, LA148
Harbor Branch: EC209
Jupiter: SR268
Port St. Lucie: JU112, JU319, JU334, MP114, MP115
We had a connectivity issue to the Internet about 9:11 AM this morning. We have recovered from the issue. We are currently looking into the cause of the outage.
The network maintenance scheduled for Monday 2:00a-6:00a has been completed. Services are now operating as normal.
IRM will be performing maintenance on firewall hardware from 2:00a.m to 6:00a.m. this Monday morning. During this time, access to the internet from FAU’s campuses may be briefly interrupted in addition to intermittent interruptions in access to wired dorm networks, wireless, new pre-production Banner servers, College of Science and Engineering, Culture and Society, and Echo recordings.
Additional maintenance is scheduled for Wednesday morning. A separate notification will be sent out regarding that maintenance window.
The problem has been resolved and the domain controller is back online and functioning properly.
There is a problem with Boca domain controller 2 (bocdcfau02). This is causing a problem for applications that are bound to it: Identity Manager (IDM), Central Authentication Services (CAS) and time synchronization of clients. The problem is being looked into.
The network maintenance scheduled for Sunday 2:00a-6:00a has been completed. Services are now operating as normal.
IRM will be performing maintenance on firewall hardware from 2:00a.m to 6:00a.m. thus Sunday morning. During this time, access to the internet from FAU’s campuses will be intermittent while maintenance and testing is in progress.
Additional maintenance is scheduled for Monday and Wednesday mornings. Separate notifications will be sent out regarding those maintenance windows.
The FAU Self-Service and Banner systems will be unavailable from 3:00 p.m., Friday, March 9 through 7a.m., Sunday, March 11, 2012.
During this time the Office of Information Technology will upgrade the Operating System to improve performance. The following services will not be available:
* Banner Forms (INB) access
* FAU Student, Faculty, and Employee Self-Service (including registration, transcripts, grades and payments)
