The FAU network is experiencing high levels of packet loss (slowness.) We are working to resolve the issue.
On Thursday May 26th from 5:00am till 7:00am CSI will be performing telephone system maintenance and software upgrades to the telephones at the FAU Boca Police Dept. In the event of an emergency the FAU police department can be reached at 561-271-5163. At all FAU peer campuses local police can be reached by dialing 911 from a cellular or FAU-phone. On the Boca Raton campus local police can be reached by Dialing 911 from a cellular or other non-FAU-phone.
On Friday May 27th from 5:00am till 7:00am CSI will be performing telephone system maintenance that will interrupt telephone service on the Jupiter Campus. Other Northern campuses may experience intermittent outages. All off campus calls originating from the Northern campuses may require dialing a seven or ten digit number for all off campus calls. If you are trying to reach the Northern campuses, the ten digit number might be required. In the event of an emergency the FAU police department can be reached at 561-297-3500 by using a cellular or other non-FAU phone, and local police can be reached by Dialing 911 from a cellular or other non-FAU-phone.

The Blackboard 9.1 production servers “struts-config.xml” file is missing a validation flag that causes the Course Cartridge Import Status to produce an HTTP 500 error. The problem is corrected by adding the validation flag to the file on each server. Each server will require a PushConfigUpdates.sh script to run to make the changes effective.

Description of Maintenance: The Talisma database server will be unavailable in order to move the tlDistributor unc directory from the local disk (C:) to the (F:) drive. A snapshot of all the databases will be taken and the replication process will begin.
The Metro Ethernet data circuit that connects the Jupiter campus and Boca Raton campus is congested due to incorrect ATT settings. We are working with ATT to correct this issue.
On Thursday May 19th, 2011 the oracleapps/enzo server will be unavailable from 4:00am-7:00am for scheduled maintenance.
