IRM will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deem necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 6/30/2011 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during IRM maintenance window. Engineering and Utilities has notified us that there will be an electrical outage tonight at 11:45 pm. The electrical outage should last for approximately one hour.
This will affect the southeast side of the Boca Raton campus, including the following buildings:

Friday July 1st we will be doing network maintenance between 4:00am – 7:00am in Bldg 47. This work is to replace the existing network switch on the 2nd floor. Only the 2nd floor will be affected with this work.
**UPDATE** The network is up, but it drops out periodically. We believe this is due to the cable feeding the Information Booth. We are still working on the issue.
We are presently having trouble with the network connection to the Information Booth Bldg 41. We are working to resolve the issue.
Banner production FAUP will be unavailable Thursday, June 30, 2011 from 12:01 AM to 7:00 AM in order to complete the Phase I of the fiscal year end roll process.
On Wednesday, June 29th between the hours of 5:00 AM and 7:00 AM CSI will be performing software upgrade maintenance on the telephone system. During this timeframe telephone service will be unavailable to all FAU peer campuses as well Housing and the T-area on the Boca campus.
In the event of an emergency the FAU police department can be reached at 561-271-5163 by using a cellular or other non-FAU phone, and local police can be reached by Dialing 911 from a cellular or other non-FAU-phone.
