Blackboard was unavailable this morning (5.12.11) between 2:00am and 7:30am.
Networking will be performing a switch upgrade in building 47 on the fourth floor at the Boca Raton campus tonight from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Network connectivity to the fourth floor of this building will be disrupted during this time.
IRM will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deem necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 05/12/2011 from 1:00 AM to 7:00 AM during IRM maintenance window. In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:

We are currently experiencing issues with telephones located at the Harbor Branch and Davie West locations. We are aware of the outages and working diligently to determine the cause and make corrections.
There is an issue with devices in building 96 (New Engineering) getting DHCP IP addresses. Networking is aware of the issue and working diligently to determine the cause and make corrections.
Banner production will be unavailable on Thursday May 12, 2010 from 4:00AM-5:00AM to apply patches for a problem that was discovered last week.

MyFAU is experiencing sporadic errors. There has been various cases of people getting 404 errors. We are now rebooting the portals to see if this helps alleviate the problem. We will do one portal at a time. There will be some downtime experienced by users during these restarts.
We will be replacing the network equipment in MC-03 (Student Resources & Classroom Building) on the MacArthur campus in Jupiter on Thursday May 12, 2011. The network in that building will be offline from 6:00pm until 2:00am.
On Saturday May 7th 2011 from 5:00am to 7:00am CSI will be performing telephone system maintenance that will interrupt telephone service on the Jupiter Campus. Other Northern campuses may experience intermittent outages. All off campus calls originating from the Northern campuses may require dialing a seven or ten digit number for all off campus calls. If you are trying to reach the Northern campuses, the ten digit number might be required. In the event of an emergency the FAU police department can be reached at 561-297-3500 by using a cellular or other non-FAU phone, and local police can be reached by Dialing 911 from a cellular or other non-FAU-phone.
