IRM will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deem necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 7/7/2011 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during IRM maintenance window. In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:

When: 5:00 AM – 6:00 AM
Affected Services: Travel & Expense and Effort Certification systems
Description of Maintenance: Travel & Expense and Effort Certification systems will be unavailable for UNIX server maintenance.

Network: Network outage on the FAU SeaTech campus.

We are currently in route to the SeaTech campus to determine the root cause of the outage.

Switch upgrades for the 3rd and 4th floor of the Davie Campus Education & Science (ES) building are completed.

The 1st floor switch upgrade of the building is postponed until a later date.

The exchange 2010 mailbox servers will be rebooted on Saturday July 2nd at 2am to correct a recent problem.  Users will be momentarily disconnected from Outlook and/or mobile devices at this time and will automatically reconnect within 5 to 10 minutes.

IRM will be performing additional systems maintenance on Friday, July 1, 2011 from 3:00 AM to 5:00 AM. This will affect the following systems/services:

Affected Services: SharePoint Affected Systems: Spwfe1, Spwfe2, Spapp1 Description of Maintenance: We will be applying service pack 1 for SharePoint Server 2010. SharePoint will be unavailable during this time.

Phase I of the fiscal year end roll is now complete and the FAU Self-Service and Banner systems are available.

Broward Computing Services in conjunction with Networking will perform the following upgrades on July 1, 2011.

Switch upgrades for the Davie Education & Science Building. System affected: internet / network access, telephones for the 1st, 3rd, 4th floors Downtime: 8: 00 AM – 5:00 PM

Will provide updates as each floor is completed and back online.

The Fiscal Year End roll is processing smoothly; however, it is taking longer than anticipated. Once the posting and final reports are finished, Banner INB and SSB will be available.

The estimated time for this is 9:30am-10:00am.
