There is an issue with devices in building 96 (New Engineering) getting DHCP IP addresses. Networking is aware of the issue and working diligently to determine the cause and make corrections.

Banner production will be unavailable on Thursday May 12, 2010 from 4:00AM-5:00AM to apply patches for a problem that was discovered last week.

MyFAU is experiencing sporadic errors. There has been various cases of people getting 404 errors. We are now rebooting the portals to see if this helps alleviate the problem. We will do one portal at a time. There will be some downtime experienced by users during these restarts.

We will be replacing the network equipment in MC-03 (Student Resources & Classroom Building) on the MacArthur campus in Jupiter on Thursday May 12, 2011. The network in that building will be offline from 6:00pm until 2:00am.

On Saturday May 7th 2011 from 5:00am to 7:00am CSI will be performing telephone system maintenance that will interrupt telephone service on the Jupiter Campus. Other Northern campuses may experience intermittent outages. All off campus calls originating from the Northern campuses may require dialing a seven or ten digit number for all off campus calls. If you are trying to reach the Northern campuses, the ten digit number might be required. Network upgrades to cause service outages during the semester break (Tuesday, May 10 through Saturday, May 14, 2011).  Beginning on Tuesday, May 10, 2011, IRM will be upgrading the networking infrastructure to implement a redundant Internet connection. This upgrade will cause intermittent interruptions to the network and telephone systems during the implementation and testing of the new connection. IRM will begin testing the network and telephone services on Tuesday, May 10 between 5:00 am and 7:00 am. Implementation and testing will continue on Wednesday, May 11, Friday, May 13, and Saturday, May 14, 2011 between 12:01 am and 7:00 am. Please be advised that calls between campuses as well as off campus calls may require dialing a seven or ten digit number.
