On Wednesday March 30th from 5:00am till 7:00am CSI will be performing telephone system maintenance that will interrupt telephone service on the Jupiter Campus. Other Northern campuses may experience intermittent outages.

All off campus calls originating from the Northern campuses may require dialing a seven or ten digit number for all off campus calls. If you are trying to reach the Northern campuses, the ten digit number might be required.

In the event of an emergency the FAU police department can be reached at 561-297-3500 by using a cellular or other non-FAU phone, and local police can be reached by Dialing 911 from a cellular or other non-FAU-phone.

Cisco switch upgrades during maintenance window tomorrow, Friday 03/24 between 6 and 7 am

These are switches that will affect portions of Davie LA and Ft Lauderdale HEC, and will have brief network outage during the maintenance window.

We are experiencing a network outage to the Ft. Lauderdale campus. Networking is working on the issue.

IRM will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deem necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 03/24/2011 from 3:00am to 7:00am during IRM maintenance window. In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:

Description of Change: MyFAU will have its host java updated and configurations will be put in place to enable single sign-on to Exchange 2010 webmail. Intermitted downtime starting at 5am. ======================================================

Description of Change: Convert TALDEV01 and TALDEV02 to VMs. Remove Backup Exec System Recovery from TALDEV01. Affected Systems: TALDEV01 TALDEV02 ======================================================

What: Banner faculty advisor self-service 8.5 upgrade
Who (impacted): Users trying to access the faculty/advisor pages in SSB

When: 3:00am-7:00am
What: Harvest production database upgrade
Who (impacted): All harvest users, the harvest service will also be unavailable after 7:00am until the end of the day and possibly the next day.

When: 5:00am-6:00am
What: www.fau.edu being placed behind F5 Global Traffic Manager
Who (impacted): No interruption

At 5:00PM the systems group will begin replicating ANDI data to a clustered environment. This is the first step in a larger plan to provide more robust shared folder services. There should be no impact to services.

The Luminis Content Management System (LCMS) (http://fauss.fau.edu/) is currently unreachable. Users that still have sites in LCMS are not able to update their pages.

This does not effect any of the users in the OmniUpdate CMS.

We are looking into the issue. No ETA as of yet.

IRM is currently experiencing intermittent network problems . We are working on the issue but do not have an estimated time of resolution.
