OIT Systems Maintenance, Thurs. February 5 from 3:00AM to 7:00AM

Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 02/05/2015 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window. In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:

NWRDC DBC1 firmware upgrade
When: 3:00AM – 7:00AM
Affected services: All services will remain up during this process
Affected systems: nwrdcesxi16 to 26
Description of maintenance: OIT will be upgrading the firmware on some blades at our disaster recovery site. As a result, several services will be unavailable for approximately 4 hours.
User impact: We do not expect any end user impact

PaperCut port and driver changes.
When: 4:00AM – 7:00AM
Affected services: PaperCut printing service
Affected systems: Boc22pcprt01
Description of maintenance: ACDI has recommended we change printer ports for our ‘Follow Me’ queues. In additional, we would like to test a different printer driver to see if that clears up some issues.​
User impact: Printing via PaperCut will not be available during the downtime.

Increase retention of items in Deleted Items folder for 365 users
When: 6:00AM – 6:00AM
Affected services: Mailboxes on Office365​
Affected systems: N/A
Description of maintenance: OIT will be increasing the retention of items ​in the Deleted Items folder for 365 users from 30 to 90 days
User impact: No end-user impact is expected​
