Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 10/10/2019 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window. In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:

NuPark to Banner Payment Integration Update
Description of change: OIT will apply some updates to the integration between Banner and NuPark to automatically zero out charges in NuPark when charges are sent to Banner.
Downtime window start: 6:00 AM
Downtime window end: 7:00 AM
Affected services: NuPark, SnapLogic, Banner
Expected End-user impact: During this time, users who’s parking and traffic tickets have been sent to banner will no longer be able to pay their bills in NuPark. Those individuals will instead have to make their payments in self service Banner.

Spam Filter Maintenance
Description of change: OIT will be updating the firmware for its spam filter appliances.

Downtime window end: 4:00 AM
Affected services: Inbound FAU email, smtp.fau.edu
Expected End-user impact: During this time, email delivery may be delayed for inbound mail. Client may receive an error when sending mail to smtp.fau.edu.

Description of change: OIT is making some changes to FAU’s information resource server to improve resiliency.

Description of change: OIT is updating the Jupiter HIPAA environment storage to the latest software release as it patches a stability bug.

Description of change: OIT will swapping the storage server used on the Boca Campus for the Biomedical health research informatics core.

Expected End-user impact: During this time, users with correctly mounted home directories (those using \\health.ad.fau.edu\bhric) should not experience any downtime.
