OIT Systems Maintenance, Thurs. Dec 2 from 3:00AM to 7:00AM

Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 12/02/2021 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window. In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:

Email Filtering Configuration Change
Description of change: ​OIT will be making a change to the types of attachments allowed in Office 365 emails.

Downtime window end 12/2/2021 8:00 AM
Affected services: Office 365 email
Expected End-user impact: End users will be unable to send and receive emails with attachments that contain executable files. A list of file extensions that will be quarantined is attached.​ Internal users who attempt to send an email with an attachment listed will also get an email notification that message has been quarantined.

Job Scheduler and Package Management Maintenance
Description of change: OIT will be performing maintenance on the back-end servers for Appworx and Harvest to increase the available memory. This will impact scheduled Banner jobs and Package Management activities.
