We are currently experiencing issues with some services and single-sign on. This impacts services such as Workday, Banner, Canvas and other applications. We are working on resolving the issue as soon as possible.

On Wednesday, July 12, 2017, between 6:00 am and 6:30 am, OIT will be performing Network maintenance affecting portions of the Boca Datacenter. No end-user impact is expected.
OIT will be performing network maintenance on the Boca Raton and Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute campuses from 4:00 a.m. until 7:00 a.m. Maintenance at Harbor Branch campus is expected to be completed before 5:00 a.m. During the maintenance window, connectivity will be sporadic including 10-15 minute outages affecting network services and internet connectivity on the Boca Raton and HBOI campuses. We will post an update when all maintenance is concluded.
Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 07/13/2017 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window. In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:
Server maintenance – ANDISec file server
Description of change: OIT will be migrating a file server from one platform to another. The file server will be unavailable during the window
Downtime window start: 3:00 AM
Downtime window end: 7:00 AM
Affected services: file shares on andisec
Affected systems: andisec
Expected End-user impact: During this time, andisec file server will be unavailable. Any automated jobs that copy or read files from andisec will fail during the window.

The email settings used by Forms.fau.edu were updated to improve reliability. Form designs can report issues to mad@fau.edu.
The FAUGuest wireless network is completely up and running at this time.
The issue has been identified and updates are being currently applied. We will update this post once the work has been completed and the system is available from all campus locations.
The web application that is used to authenticate clients is inaccessible on the FAUGuest wireless network. We are investigating the cause and will provide updates as they are available.
