Network upgrade on the Jupiter campus 4-4-2012

On Wednesday, April 04, 2012, between 6:00 am and 6:30 am, OIT will upgrade a networking UPS device on the Jupiter campus. This upgrade will cause an interruption to the network connection on the FAU Jupiter campus. Please be advised that calls to or from the Jupiter campus may require dialing a seven or ten digit number during the times listed above. In case of an emergency during this period, the FAU Police Department can be reached at 561-271-5163 If you experience difficulties after the times outlined above, please contact the FAU help desk at http://www.fau.edu/helpdesk/ or 561-297-3999 for immediate assistance. Upgrading the power for the voice system in T-6, Tuesday, 4/3/12 @ 5am

On Tuesday, April 3, 2012, from 5:00am till 7:00am CI will be upgrading the power for the voice system in T-6. During this time there will be no FAU phone service in the T-Area, Building 69, or the Baldwin House. If you have an emergency and you are located in these areas please dial 911 from a cellular or a non-FAU phone. The FAU police department can be reached at 561-271-5163.

FAU Self-Service / Banner unavailable today 4/1/2012 4:30pm – 5:00pm

Banner production FAUP will be unavailable today from 4:30pm – 5:00pm in order to perform some emergency maintenance. During this time FAU Self-Service. Banner Forms (INB) and other Banner services will be unavailable.

Resolved – e-print server not accessible

This morning we had a problem with the e-print server not able to be reached. Users who tried accessing it received an HTTP 500 internal server error message. Middleware/e-print support was contacted and the issue has been resolved. The e-print server is now reachable once again.

Resolved – BITS webpage not loading in IE

This morning we experienced a problem with the BITS webpage not loading properly in IE. When attempting to load the page, IE responded the it could not display the webpage. BIT support was contacted and the issue has been resolved. The webpage is now properly loading in IE.
