MyFAU had to be restarted at 7:40am in order to re-enable its single sign-on connection after the Banner system migration. All services were back up and running by 8am.

Fausftp maintenance is taking longer than expected.   ETA not available at the moment.  We apologize for the inconvenience

Networking will be upgrading the network equipment in building 53 (Visual Arts) during the maintenance window 5:00am to 7:00am Wednesday 03/07/2012. No service outage during normal business hours is expected.

Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 03/08/2012 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window.  In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:

When: 3:00 – 4:00am
What: fausftp reboot for patches
Potentially affected systems: banner production or banner test scripts and all other systems that are scripted to use the fausftp system for file transfers
Description of Maintenance: The fausftp server is being rebooted for patches.
User impact: Users who have automated scripts running to upload or download files during the reboot time may find that their files may not have transferred.

Affected Services: Mailing lists, Password Sync, PhoneBill, Network Registration Affected Systems: lintalon0, lists, idm1, idmgatewayp
Description of Maintenance: These virtual machines will be shut down so a clone of each may be created for provisioning at NWRDC.
User impact: lists and idm will be offline during the maintenance. Mail sent to lists during its downtime should be queued and retried by the mail server. PhoneBill and Network Registration are expected to remain online.

Description of Maintenance: Owlapp’s automatic push to banner functionality will be disabled in preparation for the Banner Migration over the weekend.
User impact: Owlapp.fau.edu will be unavailable during this maintenance.
