We are currently experiencing intermittent problems with the telephone system for all campuses, we are working to resolve the issue asap.
When: 3:00 AM – 4:00 AM
Affected Service: sso.fau.edu
Affected Systems: cas0p.fau.edu, cas1p.fau.edu, sso.fau.edu, eCollege Login’s, Help Desk Login’s and other SSO based systems.
Description of Maintenance: CAS will be updated to improve the performance of trusted MyFAU logins. SSO.FAU.EDU may become unavailable between 3am and 4am.
When: 4:00 AM – 5:00 AM
Affected Services: Admissions applications (owlapp.fau.edu)
Affected Systems: owlapp.fau.edu, owlapp1.fau.edu, and owlapp2.fau.edu.
Description of Maintenance: A bug fix must be applied to the Undergraduate admissions process, the application will be unavailable for a few moments between 4am and 5am.
IRM will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deem necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 09/01/2011 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during IRM maintenance window.

In MDF main APC UPS needs to be powered down
Possibly network and telephone services could be disrupted for a brief but unspecified time. There is no ETA for the resolution of this problem at this time.
Treasure Coast Campus is the only area that will be impacted.
All www.fau.edu component servers have been restarted.
IRM will be installing a critical security patch to the FAU Web Servers including those that host the www.fau.edu website .
A httpd service restart will be performed at 12:30pm EST on the following systems and no anticipated downtime is expected:
