OIT Systems Maintenance, Thursday, Feb 11 from 3:00AM to 7:00AM

Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 02/11/2016 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window.  In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:

Banner SSO Manager upgrade
When: 5:00AM – 6:00AM
Affected services: Banner self-service​
Affected systems: Banner application servers​
Description of maintenance: Upgrade Banner SSO Manager from 8.1.5 to 8.2​
User impact: Banner self-service may become unavailable for a shot period of time during the upgrade

Migrate Jupiter and HBOI network support systems to new hardware
When: 5:00AM – 7:00AM
Affected services: ​Netreg, DHCP, DNS, LDAP for Jupiter and HBOI campuses
Affected systems: ​ldapjup1, ldapjup2, dnsjup1, dhsjup2, dhcpjup1, dhcpjup2, jup17pcprt01, jup17hv01, jup17hv02
Description of maintenance: OIT will be migrating several systems that support user authentication and network services on the Jupiter and HBOI campuses to new hardware
User impact: ​DHCP, netreg, and Papercut printing services will be down on the Jupiter and HBOI campuses while the migration occurs.
