Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 05/11/2017 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window. Affected systems: Banner XE Student Faculty grade entry, Banner XE Student self-service, Banner XE General Self-Service, Banner XE Student Advisor, Banner XE Student Academic history module, Banner XE Communication management module, Banner XE Student API module, Banner XE Ethos API DB module, Banner XE extensibility module, Banner XE DB upgrade modules
Description of maintenance: The Banner XE modules listed above will be upgraded during the maintenance window.
User impact: No end-user impact is expected

Replace faudns with linux VM
When: 4:30AM – 5:00AM
Affected services: External DNS resolution
Affected systems: faudns
Description of maintenance: OIT is replacing an old Solaris branded computer server that is functioning as faudns (one of three external facing domain name servers) with a new VM that is running the linux operating system.
User impact: No end-user impact is expected
