OIT Systems Maintenance, Thurs. May 9 from 3:00AM to 7:00AM

Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 05/09/2019 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window.  In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:

MYFAU Persona Maintenance
Description of change: OIT will do an icon refresh and adding personas in the backend in preparation for executive education section launch in a few weeks.
Downtime window start: 5:00 AM
Downtime window end: 6:00 AM
Affected services: MYFAU
Affected systems: MYFAU website and mobile app
Expected End-user impact: During this time, some pages take a bit longer to refresh while design changes are pushed. Most changes will be more noticeable on the mobile app where caching takes a bit to catch up.

BHRIC Server upgrade from Windows 2012R2 to Windows 2019
Description of change: OIT will upgrade the BHRIC servers to newest version of Windows Server.
Downtime window start: 3:00 AM
Downtime window end: 6:00 AM
Affected services: Services on jup​17-s-profile
Affected systems: jup17-s-profile​.med.ad.fau.edu
Expected End-user impact: During this time, no end-user impact is expected.

REDCap upgrade
Description of change: OIT will upgrade the redcap research tool to the latest stable release. ​
Downtime window start: 5:00 AM
Downtime window end: 6:00 PM
Affected services: Redcap​
Affected systems: redcap
Expected End-user impact: During this time, Redcap will be offline from 5 am – 6 am​ while the database is upgraded.
