Faculty may get a navigation cancelled error on Grade Center. To see all the channels (secure and non-secure), click “No” when you get the pop-up message. Don’t want to get this question all the time? Change your browser settings so it will always display both secure and non-secure items:

1. Start Internet Explorer.
2. From the Internet Explorer toolbar, select the Tools menu, and then select click Internet Options.
3. Select the Security tab, click the Custom Level button on the bottom of the window.
4. In the Miscellaneous section, click the Enable radio button under Display mixed content.
5. Click OK. You’ll be returned to the Internet Options window.
6. Click OK.

The issue of opening a page with mixed content of secure/unsecure including the Grade Center has been resolved.

Beginning at 9 a.m. on May 3, 2010, when you change your password on your campus computer (in your office or a computer lab) or via MyFAU, the updated password will automatically synchronize with the following IRM systems and services:

• All FAU computers in the FAU domain, including computers in the labs, classroom computers, and office computers
• MyFAU
• E-mail
• Microsoft Exchange
• Access to share drives
• Mac OS computers connected to the FAU network
• Login to the FAU network, wired and/or wireless
• Cisco VPN
• PrintOnline.fau.edu

Please note your current individual passwords will remain the same until you CHANGE your password. At that point there will be one password for these systems.

This is to announce a scheduled maintenance window for Bb SafeAssign product. This downtime will occur Monday May 3, 2010 from midnight to 2 a.m. EST.

The Banner production system will be unavailable for use on Thursday April 29th from 3am-7am for Oracle and server maintenance.

Safe Assign in Blackboard is currently unavailable.

We are currently experiencing intermittent problems with the telephone system. We are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible.

On Saturday, May 1 from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., the University PhoneMail (voicemail) system will not be operational due to scheduled maintenance. We experienced a telephone outage affecting all of the outer FAU campus locations as well as the Boca campus T-Area, Service was restored at 11:00am.

Cisco switch maintenance in bldg 8 / ss tomorrow, Wednesday, April 14th, between 6 and 7 am. There will be a brief network outage in bldg 8 during the maintenance window.

We are currently experiencing issues with the AppWorx server this morning.
