COVID-19 Health Check-in Update

The Office of Information will be updating the COVID-19 Health Check-in which is displayed when users login to Canvas and Workday. This upgrade will occur at 8 pm and last until 8:15 pm.

While not expected some users may have difficulty logging in and updating their health status during this time. If you have any trouble please try again after 8:15 pm.

OIT Systems Maintenance, Thurs. Dec 17 from 3:00AM to 7:00AM

Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 12/17/2020 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window. Network upgrades in building 10 on December 18 at 6:00 am

On Friday, December 18, 2020, between 6:00 am and 6:30 am, OIT will upgrade the network in the FAU Administration Building # 10. This upgrade will cause intermittent interruptions to the network, wireless, and telephones for approximately 5 minutes. [RESOLVED] TouchNet Systems Maintenance, Friday, December 11th from 3:00AM to 7:00AM

The TouchNet payment processing system will be undergoing maintenance -Starting from 3:00am to 7:00am (EST) Friday, December 11th. This affects student payment services (Bill+Payment), as well as all Marketplace Stores, uPay sites and TouchNet ready partner payment services. We expect all systems to be back online no later than 7:00 am (EST) that morning. When the system is back up and ready to go, we will notify you. You may wish to place warnings on your website, or take your store offline. If this scheduled downtime creates a conflict for your operations, please feel free to contact us at FIS@fau.edu for further discussion. The pay-for-print service will be unavailable due to maintenance and necessary upgrades starting Wednesday, Dec 2 at 8:00am until Friday, Dec 4 at 5:00pm.

[Resolved] AWS Issues affecting Canvas and Related Tools

[6:50 AM] This issue has been resolved.

Canvas and Respondus LockDown Browser have reported issues due to problems with Amazon Web Services (AWS). FAU students and teachers may experience problems accessing parts of Canvas or LockDown Browser exams. There is no reported time frame yet for a fix for this issue. Updates will follow as we get them.
