OIT Systems Maintenance, Thurs. June 17 from 3:00AM to 7:00AM

Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 06/17/2021 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window. In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:

Redcap BugFix Upgrade
Description of change: Research Computing will be upgrading Redcap to the latest long term release. This update fixes one major bug and several minor bugs the correct issues cloning and summarizing projects.
Downtime window start: 6/17/2021 6:00 AM
Downtime window end: 6/17/2021 6:05 AM
Affected services: Redcap
Expected End-user impact: During this time, Redcap will go offline for a few seconds. Users will receive a warning message stating that Redcap is offline.

OIT will be performing network maintenance on Thursday June 17th. from 4:30 a.m. until 7:00 a.m. During this time, connectivity to and from the internet on all campuses, and services on the Boca Raton and Jupiter campuses will be intermittently unavailable.

Network maintenance June the 5th at 10:00 pm

The Networking department will be performing emergency maintenance beginning at 10:00 pm on Saturday, June the 5th. Maintenance should be completed by 1:00 am on June the 6th. During the maintenance window, Internet traffic will be automatically rerouted.

[UNEXPECTED NETWORK DISRUPTION] Friday June 4th from 2:41 p.m. to 2:50 p.m.

The Boca Raton campus experienced a series of brief unexpected network disruptions between 2:40 p.m. and 2:50 p.m. today. OIT is aware of the cause and all services are expected to be operating as normal at this time.

[NETWORK MAINTENANCE] Jupiter and Boca Raton – Saturday June 5th from 12:00 a.m. until 3:00 a.m.

OIT will be performing maintenance on core network equipment on the Boca Raton and Jupiter campuses on Saturday June 5th from 12:00 a.m. until 3:00 a.m. During this time there will be a series of momentary disruptions to network traffic on the Jupiter and Boca Raton campuses. Connectivity to and from the internet as well as connectivity to campus network resources will be impacted during this maintenance window.
