OIT will be performing network maintenance affecting all campuses from 5:00 a.m. until 6:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 6th. During this maintenance, short disruptions of connectivity to and from the internet and to campus technology resources will occur.
Transcript requests are now functional again. Any issues please report them to the Help Desk.
We have been experiencing issues with our Transcript request/payments service as of Friday, May 31st, 2024. We have removed the options that are not working currently, and added an message referencing the service interruption. We are working with our vendors to restore this service. Thank you for your understanding.
Mediasite has resolved the error impacting presentation and channel availability via Canvas.
OIT is aware and investigating along with the vendor, a connection error between Canvas and Mediasite.
Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 05/30/2024 from 12:01 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window. Banner Maintenance
Description of change: OIT will be performing maintenance on Banner from 12:01 a.m. until 7:00 a.m. on May 30th. Banner will not be available during this time to allow the Ellucian support team to install the updates.

Printing services maintenance
Description of change: OIT will be upgrading printing services used in the computer labs, library, and web printing on Wednesday, May 22nd, between the hours of 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM.

Description of change: OIT will be performing server maintenance affecting uAchieve/DARS access and audits.

REDCap maintenance
Description of change: Research Computing will be performing Maintencace on REDCap. During this time REDCap will be offline for all users

End-user impact: During this time REDCap will be put into maintenance mode. Users will see “REDCap is down for Maintenance” if they try to get to any REDCap login or survery.
The upgrade has been completed and Papercut is now online.

We will be performing some service enhancements that will require the Papercut service to be intermittently offline between 6AM and 9AM on Wednesday the 22nd. This will affect printing in the library, as well as the computer labs. In addition, web printing from fauprint.fau.edu will also be affected during this window.

The Zoom to Mediasite import tool has been repaired and is now importing designated Zoom recordings in to Mediasite. OIT is continuing to monitor the tool for stability.
Please note that only Zoom recordings made on or after May 1st will be imported. Failed recordings made before this date will need to be manually transferred by downloading from Zoom and uploading into MyMediasite.
