The network upgrade in the Education building has been completed.

On Sunday, December 04, 2016, between 12:00 am and 6:00 am, OIT will upgrade the network in the FAU Education building #47. This upgrade will cause intermittent interruptions to the network in the Education building during the implementation and testing of the new hardware. When: 3:00AM – 5:00AM
Affected services: Myfau web portal
Affected systems: Direct access to mcsource, mcportal1, and mcportal2
Description of maintenance: OIT is continuing the move of servers from older bigip load balancer hardware to the new ones. This move will be for the backend servers that support the myfau.fau.edu site.
User impact: The main myfau.fau.edu access should be unaffected but users may experience interruptions with components within myfau.fau.edu during the transition.

User impact: SSO will be inaccessible for 5 minutes. (more than likely 5 seconds)
