OIT Systems Maintenance, Thurs. June 25 from 3:00AM to 7:00AM

Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 06/25/2014 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window. In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:

When: 5:00AM – 6:00AM
Affected services: MyFAU will be down during this time frame
Affected systems: MyFAU
Expected end-user impact: MyFAU will not be accessible during the downtime window.
Description of change: We will be modifying some webpages within MyFAU to update information as it regards to password changes

When: 6:00AM – 7:00AM
Affected Services: Leap Ahead
Affected Systems: ibiweb4.fau.edu
Expected end-user impact: Leap Ahead unavailable during upgrade.
Description of change: Upgrade Leap Ahead to new version

Single Sign On Updates Friday June 19, 2015 3am – 5am

The Single Sign On system will be upgrade Friday June 19, 2015 3am to 5am. During this time users may not be able to access services such as Banner Self Service, Network Registration Blackboard, Owl Applications, and the Help Desk.

[RESOLVED]Possible email in junk folder for office 365 users

The spam filtering in office 365 has changed and is causing messages to end up in junk mail when normally they don’t.

[resolved] OS deployment with SCCM is currently unavailable

User impact: This update will not affect the general campus community. For technical staff, the OS deployment/reporting/patching/application push will be unavailable during the window

Description of change: OIT is applying an update to single-sign on to resolve empty student id number and login errors that were reported over the last two weeks.

Description of change: OIT created new function to calculate period budget group that will be applied.

Description of change: OIT will enable remote desktop on computers it manages in order for User Services to better support those systems.
