Zoom has received reports of users being unable to utilize Live Transcription services within Zoom Meetings. Cloud Recording transcriptions are not impacted. Zoom is currently investigating and will provide updates as they have them.

When trying to access Canvas, users may get a 504 Gateway Time-Out error.
This has been reported to Canvas and they are currently investigating the issue.

Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 03/25/2021 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window. Affected services: External DNS services in the global traffic manager subdomain. This covers almost all of public facing websites managed by OIT and external and internal websites hosted on the load balancers.
Expected End-user impact: Users may experience momentary disruption of persistent connections to affected sites. Users may need to reconnect to services that they were previously logged into. For non-persistent connections and general web browsing (e.g. the main www.fau.edu), end users may not experience any disruptions.

OIT will be performing maintenance on the BHRIC VDI infrastructure from 12:00 a.m. until 2:00 a.m. on Friday, April 2nd. During this time access to BHRIC VDI instances may be unavailable
The network maintenance scheduled for this morning has been completed.
The network maintenance scheduled for the Jupiter campus from 12:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. has been completed. We currently all services to be operating normally.
The TouchNet payment processing system will be undergoing maintenance -Starting from 3:00am to 7:00am (EST) Friday, March 26th. This affects student payment services (Bill+Payment), as well as all Marketplace Stores, uPay sites and TouchNet ready partner payment services. We expect all systems to be back online no later than 7:00 am (EST) that morning. When the system is back up and ready to go, we will notify you. You may wish to place warnings on your website, or take your store offline. If this scheduled downtime creates a conflict for your operations, please feel free to contact us at FIS@fau.edu for further discussion.
