OIT Systems Maintenance, Thurs 11/19 from 12:01AM to 7:00AM

Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 11/19/2015 from 12:01 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window. In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:

Talisma Upgrade
When: 12:01AM – 7:00AM
Affected services: Talisma
Affected systems: Talisma servers- Taldb01, talapp01, talapp02
Description of maintenance: We will be upgrading talisma to version 8.6
User impact: Talisma will be unavailable during this time.

Correct certificate error for Sharepoint calendars in Outlook
When: 5:00AM – 7:00AM
Affected services: Sharepoint
Affected systems: Boc22spapp1
Description of maintenance: OIT will implement a fix to correct the certificate error for Sharepoint calendars that shows up in Outlook.
User impact: Users that have https://sharepoint as a bookmark will need to replace it with https://sharepoint.fau.edu

Workday Production – Available Maintenance complete

Workday Production – Available Maintenance complete

FAU Workday production system is available. The Weekly Service Update Maintenance has completed (9 am). All services for Workday are working.

Also:

The other non Production FAU Workday tenants will be available around 9am (or sooner) on Sunday November 15th due to special maintenance this weekend. This includes these tenants – Sandbox and Sandbox Preview.

Workday Production – Weekly Service Update and Maintenance downtime this Sat 11-14 from 2am – 6am

Workday Production – Weekly Service Update and Maintenance downtime this Sat 11-14 from 2am – 6am

FAU Workday production system will be down this coming Saturday, November 14th from 2am est to 6am est in order to do the Weekly Service Update and Maintenance. During this time, you will not be available to log into the FAU Workday site or Workday Mobile app.

Also:

The other non Production FAU Workday tenants will be down for their normal Friday Weekly service updates and Special Maintenance – Down from at 9pm est on Friday, November 13th through 9am est on Sunday, November 15th includes these tenants – Sandbox and Sandbox Preview.

Systems Mainteance: VMware Patches – Fri, Nov 13 from 12:01AM to 6:00AM

On Friday, November 13 starting at 12:01AM, OIT will be patching the VMware cluster at Boca. The maintenance is expected to last until 6:00AM.

We do not expect any end user impact as no services should be affected during this time.

Blackboard Sporadic Service Issues

[RESOLVED] Login Issues with Outlook 365 (outlook.fau.edu)

This issue has been resolved.

We are currently experiencing issues with Outlook 365. At this time, users are not able to access Outlook via the web (outlook.fau.edu).

Please note that this does not impact regular Exchange users using OWA (mail.fau.edu).

We are investigating the issue and hope to have it resolved as soon as possible.

[RESOLVED] FAU Experiencing Degraded Internet Performance

FAU’s primary connection to the internet was restored at 7:00 this morning. The degraded internet performance issues have now been resolved and all services are expected to be running at normal speeds.
