[RESOLVED] Clean Address Application Service Interruption

The Clean Address issue below has been resolved.

Our service called clean address is currently experiencing issues. Any pages
that use this product to sanitize addresses are impacted. Two areas with most
use are:

[NETWORK MAINTENANCE] All campuses – Thursday, May 18 from 5:00 a.m. until 6:00 a.m.

OIT will be performing network maintenance affecting all campuses on Thursday May 18th from 5:00 a.m. until 6:00 a.m. During this maintenance window, all connectivity to and from the internet and access to campus technology services will be interrupted.

FAU Printing Service Maintenance

Maintenance continues on the FAU Printing Service. Users will be unable to access the system at this time.

Users needing to print on campus can find local options at:

  • FAU Library in Boca Raton
  • Toshiba Print and Mail services in Boca Raton near the Bookstore.

OIT Systems Maintenance, Thurs. May 11 from 12:01AM to 7:00AM

Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 05/11/2023 from 12:01 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window. In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:


Service Upgrade
Description of change: OIT will upgrade domain services for the Harbor Branch campus.
Downtime window start: 05/11/2023 4:00 AM
Downtime window end: 05/11/2023 4:30 AM
Affected services: Domain authentication
End-user impact: All users at the HBOI campus.


Banner Maintenance
Description of change: OIT will be performing maintenance on Banner from 2:00 a.m. until 6:00 a.m. on May 11th. Banner will not be available during this time.
Downtime window start: 05/11/2023 2:00 AM
Downtime window end: 05/11/2023 6:00 AM
Affected services: Banner
End-user impact: All Banner systems will be unavailable during this time.

[RESOLVED]Apps.fau.edu will be unavailable on 5/9/23 starting at 8AM

This service upgrade is complete. Apps.fau.edu is available once more.

Virtual Desktop Outage

The vhealth.fau.edu Virtual Desktop system is experiencing an outage with select pools of desktops. If you or your team are having issues please reach out to hpc@fau.edu and we will work to get you online while our storage vendor debugs the problem. UPDATE – Banner Admin Service & Self Service 9 Registration Issues

UPDATE:

We are also receiving reports that the Self Service 9 Registration service is having issues. When students click on register for classes, they are receiving a 500 error. These issues seem to be related with admin as well, we are working on identifying and correcting it as quickly as possible.

For now users will have issues with Banner Admin and Banner Self Service 9. In addition, some other Banner services may be impacted.

ORIGINAL POST:

We have some users that are having issues with Banner admin. When trying to login, it stays on a blank page and never logs in the user. We are looking a this now, and will report back once we identify the issue.

[RESOLVED] TouchNet Systems Maintenance, Friday, May 12th from 3:00AM to 7:00AM

The TouchNet payment processing system will be undergoing maintenance -Starting from 3:00am to 7:00am (EST) Friday, May 12th. This affects student payment services (Bill+Payment), as well as all Marketplace Stores, uPay sites and TouchNet ready partner payment services. We expect all systems to be back online no later than 7:00 am (EST) that morning. When the system is back up and ready to go, we will notify you. You may wish to place warnings on your website, or take your store offline. If this scheduled downtime creates a conflict for your operations, please feel free to contact us at FIS@fau.edu for further discussion. Expected End-user impact: During this time all student payment services (Bill+Payment), as well as all Marketplace Stores, uPay sites and TouchNet ready partner payment services will be unavailable during this maintenance cycle.
